I built one sec for myself.

In 2020, during the first COVID lockdown in Germany, I spent a lot of time on my phone – mainly on Instagram. I noticed how much it affected my well-being and decided I needed to change something.

So I thought: what if I gave my long-term brain the chance to understand what’s going on while I open Instagram?

That’s how the idea was born: an app that forces me to pause and think twice before I can use social media.

Because the secret to a healthy balance with social media is not quitting completely.

The real secret is gaining back control and building intentional habits – because intentional social media use actually adds value to our lives.
